On 20 April 2023, in a specialist survey report issued by AECOM, it was determined that a Reinforced Autoclaved Aerated Concrete (RAAC) roof plank had failed in the play-hall at Queen Victoria School (QVS). Immediate action was taken and the play-hall was entirely taken out of use by the QVS Head of Establishment on 20 April 2023.

Until all additional surveys have been completed, we cannot confirm the number of Defence Children Services (DCS) buildings affected.
