Question to the Ministry of Defence:

To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, what steps his Department is take to measure the value for money of Carrier Enabled Power Projection.

In response to the House of Commons Public Accounts Committee report HC 684 November 2020, the Cost Assurance and Analysis Service were tasked to collect data on the costs of operating the UK Carrier Strike Group.

Their report on the 2021 deployment has been issued and they are concluding analysis of the 2022 deployment.
