Armed Forces: Absenteeism

Question to the Ministry of Defence:
To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, pursuant to the Answer to Question 198853 on Armed Forces: Absenteeism, how many of the personnel absent without leave were absent for 48 hours or more.
This question was answered on 17th October 2023
Personnel who were classed as Absent Without Official Leave (AWOL), (i.e. all individuals listed as AWOL for more than 48 hours from their units and registered with the Service Police Crime Bureau), accounted for the entirety of the figure provided.
