Question to the Ministry of Defence:
To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, how much his Department has budgeted for the modernisation of HMS Westminster.

The estimated cost for refitting HMS Westminster is £100 million. The upkeep for HMS Westminster is budgeted through the Future Maritime Support Programme (FMSP) contract c.£5 billion. FMSP funding is adjusted to support changing requirements accordingly and as such is not broken down to the refit and maintenance of individual assets.
