The total estimated cost of agreements concluded with the EU since 2024 over the next five years is around £570m, the overwhelming majority of which represents Erasmus+ association costs which will be paid in 2027. UK participation in Erasmus+ beyond 2027 will be subject to further negotiations.

Negotiations with the European Commission are ongoing in other areas. Following the conclusion of negotiations, the associated costs will be reported to Parliament in the usual way.
