All cases live on 1 June have been allocated to either the NPS or CRCs. Cases were transferred during the process of transitioning to new probation structures. The National Probation Service (NPS) is responsible for the assessment and allocation of all probation cases. The NPS either retains ownership of the case itself or allocates appropriate medium and low risk cases to a Community Rehabilitation Company (CRC).
