Question to the Ministry of Defence:

To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, what the planned crew complement of the Queen Elizabeth class aircraft carrier is by (a) rank and (b) specialisation.

Ships' and submarines' complements are not fixed; they vary, even across a Class, due to equipment fits and in response to specific tasking.

The tables attached show the average number of liability positions for each platform when in its normal operating role.
