Secure Training Centres

Question to the Ministry of Justice:
To ask the Secretary of State for Justice, what assessment his Department has made of the need for secure training centre places in each region of England and Wales.
This question was answered on 5th January 2015
The Youth Justice Board is responsible for commissioning and placing all young people under-18 in a suitable secure establishment. The Board reviews its plans regularly to ensure that there is sufficient national and regional capacity in the overall system to place young people safely.
