Question to the Ministry of Defence:

To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, on how many occasions the Government has received a request for assistance from a neighbouring state in accordance with sections 3.1 of the International Convention on Maritime Search and Rescue since 8 November 2013; and which search and rescue assets provided assistance on each such occasion.

Since 8 November 2013 the Aeronautical Rescue Co-ordination Centre has had no direct requests for assistance from any neighbouring states.
