Question to the Department for Education:

To ask the Secretary of State for Education, how much money local authorities have spent on post-16 SEND transport in each of the last three years.

The department publishes a breakdown of local authority spending in the annual local authority and school finance statistical release, found at: https://www.gov.uk/government/collections/statistics-local-authority-school-finance-data#local-authority-and-school-finance.

This breakdown includes expenditure on home to post-16 provision, including special educational needs and learners with learning difficulties or disabilities transport expenditure for those aged 16-18 and 19-25
