Hawk Aircraft: Procurement

Question to the Ministry of Defence:
To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, whether he plans to secure future orders for BAE's Hawk aircraft.

The Ministry of Defence continues to work closely with other Government Departments and BAE Systems to promote the world leading Hawk Advanced Jet Training aircraft. Building on Qatar's commitment to acquire the Hawk aircraft we continue to pursue the interest of a number of countries in the platform.
The UK does not have any immediate plans to acquire additional Hawk aircraft.
