Challenger Tanks

Question to the Ministry of Defence:
To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, what the readiness days were for the Army’s Challenger II main battle tanks in each year since 2010.

The British Army does not operate using "readiness days". The readiness of their platforms is driven by the Army readiness order, which states the quantity of platforms to be ready to deploy at any point in time.
A number of Challenger 2 Main Battle Tanks are held at readiness 365 days a year. I am withholding further details for reasons of operational security.
