Question to the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office:

To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs, whether candidates for the US Ambassador role were vetted to Developed Vetting level.

All those appointed to FCDO roles undergo pre-employment checks and National Security Vetting. All Ambassador roles require Developed Vetting level clearance.
