Question to the Ministry of Defence:
To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, pursuant to the Answer of 24 June 2019 to Question 266153 on Hawk Aircraft, how many times have Hawk T1 aircraft been given over to advanced jet training since July 2016.
This question was answered on 1st July 2019
The use of the Hawk T1 for UK aircrew undertaking Advanced Fast Jet Training ceased in April 2016. However, from 3 April to 26 June 2019, as a mitigation measure to increase training throughput, Hawk T1 aircraft of 100 Squadron have undertaken 98 sorties in that role.
