Question to the Ministry of Defence:
To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, when (a) he and (b) in his Department first learned of a data breach of the Army’s social media accounts on 3 July 2022.
This question was answered on 11th July 2022
The Ministry of Defence first learned of the Army's Twitter and Youtube accounts being compromised just after 5pm on 3 July. The Secretary of State for Defence was informed that same evening.
