Question to the Ministry of Justice:

To ask the Secretary of State for Justice, what assessment he has made of the likelihood of court closures in response to the covid-19 outbreak.

HMCTS is operating a robust contingency plan which aims to deliver as much business as possible throughout this outbreak. Any necessary temporary closures will be managed in accordance with the plan and with essential court and tribunal services prioritised.
