VE Day: Anniversaries

Question to the Ministry of Defence:
To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, what support his Department plans to provide for veterans with mobility issues to help them attend VE day celebrations in 2020.

Veterans have always been at the centre of our plans to commemorate the 75th anniversary of Victory in Europe (VE) Day and our key priority must be their health and wellbeing. Given the age of participants, we are reviewing what we can safely proceed with in line with the latest scientific advice from Public Health England.
