Question to the Ministry of Justice:

To ask the Secretary of State for Justice, whether recent representations have been made to his Department about the extent to which former employees of Just Solutions International (JSI) followed proper procedures in accepting employment in the private sector that was related to their previous work for JSI.

The rules around former civil servants taking up employment in the private sector are published on gov.uk and are made very clear when they leave. We take all allegations of impropriety extremely seriously and have launched an immediate investigation, with support from Cabinet Office, to ascertain the facts. I will update the House when the investigation is complete.
