Question to the Ministry of Justice:
To ask the Secretary of State for Justice, how much is spent by HM Prison (a) Leeds and (b) Wakefield to calculate the release date of prisoners; and how many people are employed to carry out that calculation.

Calculating release dates is not individually specified in the Directory of Services used in the National Offender Management Service. It is not therefore possible to provide reliable information on the cost or resource employed in this particular activity.
