Question to the Ministry of Defence:
To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, what proportion of the defence budget was spent on single-source contracts in 2015-16.

The Ministry of Defence (MOD) spent £8.8 billion on single source contracts in the Financial Year 2015-16. This represents 25% of the Defence budget for that year.
