Question to the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government:

To ask the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government, pursuant to the Answer of 27 March 2025 to Question 39802 on Regulator of Social Housing: Translation Services, whether her Department has made an estimate of the cost to the public purse of translation into foreign languages by local authorities.

My Department has not made an estimate of the costs in question. It is for individual local authorities to decide how best to use the resources available to them.
