Question to the Ministry of Defence:
To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, what recent progress his Department has made on the Crowsnest Programme.
This question was answered on 28th April 2025
The Royal Navy’s Merlin Mk2 Airborne Surveillance and Control helicopter, as delivered by the CROWSNEST programme, achieved Full Operating Capability as of 29 March 2025. It is currently preparing to embark on the upcoming Carrier Strike Group 2025 deployment (Op HIGHMAST).
