Rape: Convictions

Question to the Ministry of Justice:

To ask the Secretary of State for Justice, how many (a) males and (b) females have been convicted of the offence of rape in England in each of the last three years.

The Ministry of Justice publishes these figures on an annual basis available on the GOV.UK website. These figures were most recently updated May 2022, in the prosecutions and convictions worksheet in the Outcomes by Offence data tool (MS Excel Spreadsheet, 21 MB) as part of the Criminal Justice System statistics quarterly: December 2021 publication.
