Question to the Ministry of Defence:

To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, what his Department's amortisation process is for (a) aircraft, (b) ships, (c) vehicles and (d) armour.

All assets are depreciated on a straight-line basis over their useful economic life, other than some capital spares which use the diminishing balance depreciation method.
