Question to the Ministry of Defence:
To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, pursuant to the Answer of 7 April to Question 43178 on Defence: Procurement, what expenditure is involved in the Astute programme; and when the business case was first submitted.
This question was answered on 6th May 2025
The Astute programme’s Approved Budgetary Level is currently £12.2 billion. The business case was submitted to HM Treasury in March 2025.
