Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:
To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, if she will she provide new funding for sexual health services in England to help tackle the monkeypox virus.
In 2022/23, we have allocated more than £3.4 billion to local authorities in England to fund public health services, including sexual and reproductive health services. We are working with local authorities, the National Health Service and other stakeholders to identify how local health and care systems can address pressures on sexual and reproductive health services and maintain access.
