Question to the Ministry of Defence:

To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, what support his Department is providing to defence SMEs in the supply chains of Ministry of Defence contracts to help support those businesses with the increased cost of energy.

The Government has recently announced the Energy Bill Relief Scheme that will benefit non-domestic energy customers, including defence suppliers. Our collaborative work with defence suppliers through the Defence Suppliers Forum includes discussions on mutually important issues such as energy and resilience.
