Question to the Ministry of Defence:
To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, whether HMS Queen Elizabeth is equipped with the Multifunctional Advanced Data Link; whether that link allows covert transmission of data; and if he will make a statement.

HMS Queen Elizabeth will have a number of systems in place for secure communications. I am withholding further details as disclosure would, or would be likely to, prejudice the capability, effectiveness or security of the Armed Forces.
