Question to the Ministry of Defence:

To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, what steps have been taken to date to network carrier strike to identify the F35B; and if he will make a statement.

Across a carrier strike task group, there will be an array of sensors, data links and information services that will be used to communicate with and identify the F35B, ensuring a comprehensive and up to date operational picture. I am withholding further details as disclosure would, or would be likely to, prejudice the capability, effectiveness or security of the Armed Forces.
