Question to the Ministry of Defence:
To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, what assessment he has made of the potential merits of upgrading the radar on the FGR4 Typhoon.

Delivery of enhanced Radar capability to Typhoon by the end of the decade will provide a significant enhancement in capability for the RAF, will sustain around 1300 high quality engineering jobs over the next ten years across the UK and will retain many of the skills and expertise required for the Global Combat Air Programme within UK industry.
