HMS Prince of Wales: Repairs and Maintenance

Question to the Ministry of Defence:
To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, pursuant to the Answer given on 20 September 2022 to Question 48264, on HMS Prince of Wales: Repairs and Maintenance, (a) what the estimated cost is of the repairs currently underway on HMS Prince of Wales; and (b) whether those costs will be met by his Department or by industry.

The estimated cost of the repair on HMS PRINCE OF WALES will be determined by the investigation now being undertaken. Repair costs will be met by the Department.
Babcock are the prime contractor for the repair to HMS PRINCE OF WALES.
