Boxer Vehicles: Procurement

Question to the Ministry of Defence:
To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, (a) what definition his Department has set for initial operating capability for the new Boxer mechanised infantry vehicle; and (b) what are the estimated dates for (i) initial operating capability and (ii) full operating capability for the programme.

The Boxer (Mechanised Infantry Programme) initial operating capability (IOC) is defined as a company group of vehicles equipped with trained crews.
IOC is expected to be achieved in 2025 and full operating capability (FOC) in 2032.
