Question to the Ministry of Defence:
To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, what progress has been made on the Medium Wheeled Gun System project.

I refer the hon. Member to the reply given by my noble Friend, the Minister of State in the House of Lords, Earl Howe, to the noble Lord, Lord Campbell of Pittenweem, in the House of Lords to Question HL2386.
The Medium Wheeled Gun System project is still undergoing pre-concept phase work. A decision on the concept and assessment phases of the project is not expected to be made before April 2017.
