Question to the Ministry of Defence:
To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, whether his Department has been asked by the Chancellor of the Exchequer make efficiency savings in its (a) RDEL and (b) capital budget.
This question was answered on 20th October 2022
The Ministry of Defence has received no instructions to find efficiency savings in either its RDEL or capital budget since 14 October 2022.
