Question to the Ministry of Defence:

To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, what assessment he has made of the potential merits of renewing the Air Tanker refuelling contract, in the context of the agreement to buy 12 F-35A jets.

Future national air-to-air refuelling options will be considered as part of the Defence Investment Plan, and in subsequent force development work.
