There are only two types of pre-sentence report which the Probation Service will provide to the Court – a Fast Delivery Report (FDR) and a Standard Delivery Report (SDR). Both the FDR and the SDR are informed by a full risk and an offence analysis; in the case of the more prolific offenders with a FDR, that will be a recent assessment, so that a fresh one does not need to be completed as part of the pre-sentence advice provided to the Court.

The National Offender Management Service (NOMS) is working to improve the quality of information held on the national case management system – NDelius. However, neither NDelius nor the Offender Assessment System (OASys) holds information to answer the precise terms of this question.
