Question to the Ministry of Defence:
To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, what proportion of Service Family Accommodation maintained by the Defence Infrastructure Organisation has been graded at grade (a) 1, (b) 2, (c) 3 and (d) 4 and below in each of the last five years.
All Service Family Accommodation (SFA) allocated to Service families in the UK meets the Government’s Decent Homes Standard as a minimum. Homes below this standard are not allocated to Service personnel and their families.
The following table shows the Decent Home Standard applied to the MOD’s SFA stock over the last five years:
