Question to the Ministry of Defence:

To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, what the additional vehicle options are for the AJAX armoured vehicle programme.

The AJAX family of vehicles has a common base platform with six variants performing different roles and providing a number of options for the Army:

AJAX - reconnaissance and strike

ARES - armoured personnel carrier

APOLLO - repair

ATLAS - recovery

ARGUS - engineering reconnaissance

ATHENA - command and control
