Question to the Ministry of Defence:

To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, with reference to paragraph 22, page 13 of the National Audit Office report, Delivering Carrier Strike, published on 16 March 2017, what assessment he has made of the implications for his Department's policies of that report's recommendation.

We welcome the National Audit Office's recognition of the progress we have made towards delivering the Carrier Strike capability. We will examine the recommendations and report back progress against them in accordance with normal process.
