Question to the Ministry of Defence:

To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, for what reasons his Department selected the JAGM Air-to-Ground Missile to equip the AH-64E Apache helicopter.

Whilst it is the case that in October the United States gave approval to permitting a Foreign Military Sale of JAGM to the United Kingdom, no contract has been signed, and the matter remains under consideration as part of our ongoing stockpile review. As such, it would be inappropriate to comment further.
