Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:
To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, what assessment her Department has made of the potential role of sustainable hydrotreated vegetable oil diesel in assisting the NHS to achieve its net zero targets.

No specific assessment has been made. The National Health Service assesses the viability of new technologies to reduce costs and environmental impact in line with ‘Delivering a ‘Net Zero’ National Health Service’.
