Question to the Ministry of Defence:

To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, how many cases of (a) murder, (b) manslaughter, (c) rape and (d) sexual assault were tried through Court Martial last year; and how many convictions were made.

Defence has been clear that unacceptable behaviour and criminality has no place in the Armed Forces and will not be tolerated. Those who fail to meet our values and standards will be dealt with appropriately.
