Question to the Ministry of Defence:
To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, what the value is of the penalties to Capita through penalty clauses in contracts to deliver the Defence Recruitment System through the Recruiting Partnership Project since 2012.
The performance of the Defence Recruitment System (DRS) is measured as part of a wider monthly performance regime as a Key Performance Indicator.
The table below shows the number of months where penalties were incurred:

As the Defence Recruiting System did not reach Full Operating Capability until February 2018 it was agreed that Defence would start to measure its performance from Financial Year 2018-19.
