To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, whether people who have entered the UK under the Gaza medical evacuation scheme have recourse to non-medical public funds.

Should individuals wish to remain in the UK beyond the initial 24 months, they can apply for further permission to stay under existing routes within the Immigration Rules, before their current permission to stay expires. The Home Secretary has agreed to grant leave to stay for up to two years with the ability to access public funds, including treatment and wraparound support in the UK.
