Question to the Ministry of Defence:

To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, what the total funding has been from the Defence and Security Accelerator since it was established; and how much and what proportion of that funding was given to small and medium-sized enterprises.

As of 31 October 2022, since the Defence and Security Accelerator was established in 2016, it has awarded £199.6 million of funding across 1,154 contracts; £115.7 million (57.8%) of this funding was awarded to small and medium-sized enterprises.
