Question to the Home Office:

To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, if she will publish information on the nationalities of people who have been granted Humanitarian Protection Leave within the last year.

The Home Office publishes data on asylum and resettlement in the ‘Immigration Statistics Quarterly Release’. Data on the number of grants of Humanitarian Protection leave broken down by nationality are published in table Asy_D02 of the ‘asylum and resettlement detailed datasets’.

Information on how to use the datasets can be found in the ‘Notes’ page of the workbook. The latest data relates to March 2022. Additionally, the Home Office publishes a high-level overview of the data in the ‘summary tables’. The ‘contents’ sheet contains an overview of all available data on asylum and resettlement.
