Question to the Ministry of Justice:

To ask the Secretary of State for Justice, how many copies of each newspaper were delivered to prisons in the most recent year for which information is available.

The information requested is not held centrally and could be obtained only at disproportionate cost.

Prisoners can use their own money to purchase newspapers at the discretion of governors and directors of contracted out prisons.
