Question to the Ministry of Defence:
To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, what is the average time between completing the WSOp (Crewman) course and beginning the (a) Chinook OCU, and (b) Puma OCU.

The average time between completing the Weapon System Operator Crewman course to starting the platform specific Operational Conversion Unit during the past 12 months is:
Chinook - 45 Weeks
Puma - 19 Weeks
