Question to the Ministry of Defence:
To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, whether he has had recent discussions with the Kenyan authorities about the investigation into the murder of Agnes Wanjiru.
This question was answered on 8th December 2022
I undertook an official visit to Kenya in November to meet with key Ministers and Members of the new Kenyan Parliament. This provided me with a valuable opportunity to discuss with them the investigation into the alleged murder of Agnes Wanjiru. I and my counterparts, agreed on the importance of making progress on the investigation and ensuring justice for the Wanjiru family.
