Silver Jubilee Bridge

Question to the Department for Transport:
To ask Her Majesty's Government when the Silver Jubilee Bridge between Runcorn and Widnes will re-open.

Halton Borough Council, who are responsible for the Silver Jubilee Bridge, have said that it is likely that pedestrians and cyclists will be able to cross the bridge in late summer 2019, with access to vehicular traffic from spring / summer 2020 once all the necessary maintenance and upgrade work is complete.
